Meet Our Donors

Sgt. Ronald (Ron) J. Kienholz USMC

Ron Kienholz's years in the Corps—from 1968 to 1972—had an immense impact on his life. When he became the owner of a manufactured home park that his grandfather had founded, Ron discovered that both his leadership skills to run the business and his people skills to deal with tenants had actually been acquired when he was a Marine.

Ron's first visit to the National Museum of the Marine Corps inspired him to make a gift to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. "I loved how the Museum tells our Corps' history!

My wife learned a lot, and it gave her a deeper appreciation for my life in the Marine Corps" says Ron.

"My legacy gift to the MCHF is an investment in the future of an organization that will be here in perpetuity," he added. "That's important because I want the Museum to educate and inspire visitors for generations to come. The Museum is impressive—when the Marine Corps does something they do it right!"
