Meet Our Donors
GySgt Victor Corson USMC (Ret)
GySgt Victor Corson USMC (Ret) had wanted to be a U.S Marine ever since he was a little boy. He realized his dream when he enlisted and served proudly for 20 years. When it came time to name beneficiaries for his retirement plan assets, he had no hesitation as to what he wanted to do. Making the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation the beneficiary of his IRA was an easy decision. Said GySgt Corson, "the Foundation is raising funds for the completion of our Museum — the Museum that tells the history of our Corps, and that is important to me and to our country. The Marine Corps is in my blood, so including the MCHF in my estate not only pays tribute to my 30 years of service, but it also honors the sacrifice and commitment of all Marines. The Marine Corps was good to me, and now I have the opportunity to say thank you with this gift." His wife Gertie agreed that it was an ideal way to honor her husband's service. Said GySgt Corson, "we have a breed and a spirit unlike that of any other branch of service".
